This kit contains two Laowa Ranger FF compact cine zooms: 28-75mm, 75-180mm T2.9, each with PL and Canon EF mounts.

The Laowa Ranger FF Compact Cine Zoom series is designed for full-frame cameras and for one-man-band filmmakers and production companies. Its three lenses, 16-30mm, 28-75mm and 75-180mm, all T2.9, cover a zoom range of more than 11x; the 43.2 mm image circle covers both Full Frame and Super35. They are light enough for handheld use, gimbals, car rigs and shoulder rigs.

The lenses keep a constant T2.9 aperture (range T2.9-T22) while zooming, with no need to compensate exposure. The parfocal design and nearly breathing-free focus transitions keep the subject sharp while zooming, and close minimum focus distances (0.33 m, 0.49 m and 0.89 m across the series) allow intimate close-ups. The cine housing has built-in, easy back focus adjustment, the same gear position on every Ranger lens for swapping lenses without readjusting the follow focus, 0.8 mod gears on focus and aperture, and dual metric and imperial scales. The 28-75mm and 75-180mm have an 80 mm front diameter, a 77 mm filter thread, a 270° focus throw and a 100° aperture ring rotation.

The PL mount is fitted by default and an interchangeable Canon EF mount is included; optional Canon RF, Sony E, Nikon Z and L-Mount mounts are available separately.
