Laowa Venus Optics 10mm T2.1 Zero-D Cine Lens for MFT

Laowa 10mm T2.1 Zero-D MFT Cine Lens

The Laowa 10mm T2.1 Zero-D MFT Cine is the cinema version of the popular 10mm f/2 Zero-D and the smallest, lightest lens in the Laowa cine range. It gives a 96° angle of view on MFT sensors and suits wide shots, FPV drones, vlogging and architecture, on cameras such as Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K, Panasonic GH6 and Z CAM E2-M4.

The optical design has 11 elements in 7 groups with 2 ED and 2 aspherical elements, keeping distortion and chromatic aberration to a minimum and saving time in post-production. The T2.1 aperture helps in low light and gives shallow depth of field, and the 12 cm minimum focusing distance allows close-ups with strong background blur. Industry-standard 0.8 mod gears are fitted on both focus and aperture rings, the clickless aperture gives smooth iris control, and metric and imperial scales are printed on the barrel. A 49 mm filter thread takes screw-in filters, and a weather-resistant case is supplied.
