Laowa Venus Optics 12-24mm f/5.6 Zoom Lens for Canon RF

Laowa 12-24mm f/5.6 Zoom Lens for Canon RF

With an angle of view from 121.9° to 84°, the Laowa 12-24mm f/5.6 Zoom suits many applications, and is especially useful for landscape and travel photography, in tight interiors as well as wide open spaces. The maximum aperture of f/5.6 is constant across the zoom range, giving better control of depth of field when changing focal length; together with the 15 cm minimum focusing distance it allows shots with shallow depth of field. This version has the Canon RF mount.

The lens is relatively light for its class: about 497 g and 84 mm long. With the hood attached, a 77 mm adapter ring takes screw-in filters, more compact and lighter than a filter holder system. The 5-blade aperture creates 10-point sunstars, and the Frog Eye Coating (FEC) repels water and dust.
