Laowa Venus Optics 14mm T2.6 Zero-D VV Cine Lens for Arri PL

Laowa 14mm T2.6 Zero-D VV Cine Lens for Arri PL

The Laowa 14mm T2.6 Zero-D VV Cine is an ultra-wide rectilinear lens for Vista Vision with a 117.8° angle of view and Laowa's "Zero-Distortion" design. It covers large-format cameras such as RED Raptor 8K VV (Ø46.31 mm) and ARRI Alexa LF Open Gate (Ø44.71 mm), and its wide perspective allows shots in tight interiors and an exaggerated sense of space for dramatic effects. This version has the Arri PL mount. Because of the protruding PL element, check the clearance with your camera before purchase.

Low-distortion optical elements keep straight lines straight when filming architecture, interiors and scenes with straight lines, with no correction in post, and make tracking and CGI compositing easier for visual effects artists. The close focusing capability gives shallow depth of field and emphasised foregrounds; sharpness is high from centre to edge with well-controlled chromatic aberration. Compact and light, it suits gimbals, drones, handheld work and rigs, and the front thread takes ND, polarising or UV filters without a matte box.
