Laowa Venus Optics 25mm f/0.95 Argus CF APO Lens for Fuji X

Laowa Argus 25mm f/0.95 CF APO Lens for Fujifilm X

The Laowa Argus 25mm f/0.95 CF APO is an ultra-bright lens for APS-C cameras with a focal length equivalent to about 35 mm on full frame, a versatile choice for portraits, landscape, street and everyday photography. The f/0.95 aperture makes low-light and astrophotography easier and creates a shallow depth of field with creamy bokeh that separates the subject from the background. This version has the Fujifilm X mount.

The apochromatic (APO) optical design suppresses longitudinal and lateral chromatic aberration in both in-focus and out-of-focus areas, keeping purple fringing and ghosting to a minimum across the aperture range and saving post-production time. The lens focuses down to 34 cm, has minimal focus breathing for narrative video and uses internal focusing, which keeps position-sensitive accessories such as polarisers and petal hoods in place and helps keep dust out. The sturdy metal body accepts 62 mm filters, and for video the aperture ring can be switched from click-stop to continuous operation for smooth, silent exposure changes.
