Laowa Venus Optics 35mm T1.0 Argus FF Cine Lens for Nikon Z

Laowa Argus 35mm T1 FF Cine Lens for Nikon Z LWA35A1NIKZC

The Laowa Argus 35mm T1 FF belongs to the Argus T1 Cine series, which includes full-frame (28, 35, 45mm), Super35 and MFT lenses; it is the first T1 series to offer 28 and 35mm in full frame. The ultra-fast T1 aperture gives very shallow depth of field with a smooth transition from in-focus to out-of-focus areas, dreamy bokeh and clean images in low light without raising ISO excessively.

The lenses are designed to keep chromatic aberration low and contrast and sharpness high even at T1, with minimal focus breathing, close focusing and consistent colour rendering across the series to reduce grading work. The cine housing has unified gear positions, 0.8 mod gears on focus and aperture, a metric and imperial dual scale, an 80 mm front diameter with 77 mm filter thread for matte boxes and filters, internal focusing that avoids rebalancing a gimbal, and a lens support thread.
