The Laowa 6mm f/2 Zero-D MFT is the widest rectilinear option on the Micro Four Thirds market, with a 121.9° angle of view. Weighing only 188 g and 52 mm long, it is well suited to travel and to compact MFT cameras, gimbals, handheld rigs and FPV drones, and captures wide views of landscapes, architecture and interiors even in tight spaces.

The new optical design with 13 elements in 3 groups and 2 aspherical elements keeps distortion close to zero for natural architecture and interior images and less correction in post-production. The bright f/2 aperture helps in low light, and the 9 cm minimum focus distance allows background separation and soft bokeh. Electronic contacts allow aperture control from the camera body, with focus assist and EXIF data, which is also useful for DJI users. The 58 mm filter thread takes standard screw-in filters, and the 5-blade aperture produces 10-point sunstars when stopped down.
