The Laowa 7.5mm T2.1 Cine is designed for Micro Four Thirds video and photo cameras such as the Panasonic GH5, Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K and Z CAM E2. Its wide 110° angle of view and bright T2.1 maximum aperture deliver striking images even in low ambient light, and the sturdy metal body weighs only 170 g, making it ideal for handheld, drone and gimbal work.
The 13-element, 9-group optical design with two aspherical and three extra-low dispersion elements keeps spherical and chromatic aberrations to a minimum, delivering a rectilinear ultra-wide image with near-zero distortion and corner-to-corner sharpness. Focusing down to 12 cm gives more freedom in composition and depth-of-field control. Standard 0.8 mod gears work with follow focus units, the 49 mm filter thread takes screw-in filters, and the lens comes with a protective case.
