The Laowa 7.5mm T2.9 Zero-D S35 is currently the widest lens on the market for the Super35 format. Its 123° angle of view gives a distinctive perspective for shooting in tight spaces and for sweeping wide shots, and the Zero-D (zero distortion) optical design keeps distortion close to zero at infinity focus, which suits architecture, buildings, aerial and interior work.

The new optical design has 16 elements in 10 groups, including 2 ED and 2 aspherical elements, for high sharpness with chromatic aberration minimised in both in-focus and out-of-focus areas. The 25 cm minimum focus distance helps separate the subject from the background. Because the front element is not domed, 77 mm screw-in filters can be used instead of a matte box, making the setup lighter, also for drone use. Both focus and aperture rings have industry-standard 0.8 mod gears, and the lens comes with a hard case for safe transport.
