Laowa Venus Optics 8-15mm T2.9 FF Fisheye Cine Zoom for Arri PL

Laowa 8-15mm T2.9 FF Zoom Fisheye Cine Lens for Arri PL LWA815ZFF29PL

The Laowa 8-15mm T2.9 FF Zoom Fisheye Cine is designed for full-frame cinema cameras and for filmmakers looking for bold, immersive images. At 8mm it produces a circular fisheye with a 180° angle of view, suited to VR content, 360° panoramas and surreal sequences; at 15mm it fills the sensor with a rectangular fisheye image for dynamic shots, music videos and action scenes. The 75° zoom rotation lets you move from one look to the other without changing lens.

The constant T2.9 aperture across the zoom range ensures consistent exposure and works well at night, indoors and for astro sequences, with shallow depth of field to isolate subjects. The 16 cm minimum focus distance and 0.23x maximum magnification exaggerate the foreground for a bug-eye point of view. The lens has 0.8 mod follow focus gears and a dual scale, and comes with a PL mount; interchangeable Sony E, Canon RF, Nikon Z, L-Mount and Fujifilm X mounts are available (no EF).
