The Laowa 9mm T2.9 Zero-D Cine covers Super 35, APS-C and Micro Four Thirds sensors, with an angle of view of 120° on Super 35, 113° on APS-C and 100° on MFT. Its near-zero distortion design is particularly useful for architectural, aerial and interior shooting, and its small size makes it flexible for handheld, gimbal, drone and car setups.
The cine housing has 0.8 mod gears on both the focus and aperture rings, a click-less aperture ring for smooth iris control, imperial and metric scales and a 55 mm thread for standard screw-in filters. Two aspherical and three extra-low dispersion elements minimise spherical and chromatic aberration, the bright T2.9 aperture helps in low light and the 12 cm minimum focus distance gives more control over depth of field. Each Laowa Cine lens comes with a Pelican case.
