Laowa Venus Optics 9mm T5.8 VV Cine Lens for Arri PL

Laowa 9mm T5.8 VV Cine Lens for ARRI PL LWA9VV58PL

The Laowa 9mm T5.8 VV is the widest rectilinear (non-fisheye) lens for Vista Vision on the cinema market, with a 134.8° angle of view that allows previously impossible framing and easy shooting in confined spaces. Its 46.31 mm image circle covers large-format cameras such as the RED V-RAPTOR (X) 8K VV and ARRI Alexa Mini LF.

Low-distortion optics keep straight lines straight for architecture and interiors and simplify tracking and compositing for visual effects, while chromatic aberration is well controlled for sharp, clean images from centre to edge. The 12 cm minimum focus distance emphasises foreground elements, and the compact Ø84 x 41.3 mm body weighing about 600 g suits gimbals, drones, handheld shooting and rigs.
