Laowa Venus Optics Sword 25mm T2.9 1X FF Macro Cine Lens for Arri PL

Laowa Sword 25mm T2.9 1X Full Frame Macro Cine Lens PL LWASWO25MPL

The Laowa Sword 25mm T2.9 is a full-frame macro cine lens with 1X maximum magnification and ARRI PL mount, part of the Sword Macro FF Cine series.

Laowa Sword Macro FF Cine is a series of macro cine lenses ranging from the 15mm, 25mm and 35mm wide angles to the longer 60mm, 100mm and 180mm, offering a complete set for all shooting scenarios. Every lens covers full frame (43.2 mm image circle) and weighs less than 1 kg, among the lightest options of its kind, so it is easy to rig on gimbals, robotic arms or for location and travel shooting.

The series is designed for sharpness from the centre to the edges of the frame, whether wide or close, and for strong control of chromatic aberration, avoiding colour fringing. Macro capability goes up to 2:1 magnification on some models. The ARRI PL mount is fitted by default; an optional Canon EF mount (not available for the 25mm) and mirrorless mounts are available separately.

The Canon EF mount is not available for the 25mm.
