The Mackie CR5-XBT are 5" creative reference multimedia monitors designed for content creators, producers, musicians and video editors. Each speaker combines a silk dome tweeter and a 5" polypropylene woofer with rear-firing ports in an all-wood enclosure, driven by high-headroom amplifiers, for clean, articulate sound with low-end extension.

The volume control and power switch are on the front, and a placement switch selects which side of the desk the volume knob is on. The 1/4", 1/8" and RCA inputs allow an audio interface, turntable, smartphone or media player to be connected at the same time, while Bluetooth lets you stream audio wirelessly. The front headphone jack automatically mutes the monitors when in use. For extra bass the matching CR8S-XBT subwoofer can be added.
