The Mackie Onyx16 is a premium analogue mixer designed for professional recording, content creation and live use: 16-channel with 12 Onyx mic preamps with 60 dB of gain. The 3-band "British Style" Perkins EQ, based on the Wien Bridge circuit of classic 1960s and 1970s consoles, offers ±15 dB of control with a wide, musical Q and a hard bypass switch.

Connected to a Mac or PC via USB it records multitrack at up to 24-bit/96 kHz, and a stereo mix can be recorded and played directly to and from an SD card. Studio Command, with a full-colour LCD and dedicated transport controls, manages the built-in customizable FX (with up to six presets) and the SD card. Bluetooth streaming, switchable Hi-Z inputs and a rugged steel chassis complete the mixer, with backlit Mute and Solo buttons, and the Waveform OEM software bundle is included.
