Magewell Eco Capture AIO M.2

Magewell Eco Capture AIO M.2 is a one-channel 2K capture card for all-in-one interfaces in M.2 2280 format: it captures an HDMI or an SD/HD/3G/2K-SDI source with embedded audio at up to 2048x1080 60fps. The inputs are brought out through the supplied accessories (FPC ribbon cable with FPC to HDMI adapter, and MMCX to SDI breakout), so the card fits small or portable chassis where a full-size PCIe card cannot be installed.

Eco Capture M.2 cards offer systems integrators and OEM developers high-performance video capture with low power consumption in a very compact form factor: they measure only 22 x 80 mm (M.2 2280) and are made for small or portable systems where full-size PCIe slots are not available. Drivers are available for Windows and Linux on x86, x64 and ARM architectures; the cards work with OS-native capture APIs, while the Magewell SDK adds custom APIs for lower-latency capture and synchronisation of channels across multiple inputs or even multiple cards. FPGA-based processing handles scaling, picture controls and colour space conversion without loading the host CPU.

• Requires an M.2 slot with M key connected to the PCIe bus; the card cannot be used in mSATA slots.
