The BasicPod is a very light and compact tripod base (52 g without legs) that fits into the modular Novoflex TrioPod tripod system. It is very stable, takes loads up to 15 kg and its legs can be splayed at 25° and 80°. It has six 1/4" threaded holes for the legs and a 1/4" stud on top.
In this kit the BasicPod is combined with Novoflex QuadroLeg C2253 carbon fibre legs, 5-section compact version, with 1/4"-20 connection, for a light tripod suited to hikers, mountaineers and photographers who have to keep the weight of their equipment down.
