Novoflex Focusing Rail Mini CASTEL-MINI II
A focusing rail is essential for macro photography, because it lets you approach the subject with millimetre precision and place the focus exactly, which is especially important at magnifications beyond 1:1. The compact Novoflex CASTEL-MINI II weighs only 265 g yet offers an adjustment range of 10 cm, usable beyond the close-up and macro range; the range can be extended further by moving the rail inside a compatible Arca-type quick release clamp.
The CASTEL-MINI II integrates into the Novoflex modular system and is a good base for the Novoflex automatic bellows units. It makes focus stacking easy with any camera and lens and is also a suitable base for stereo photography. It is stable enough for heavier DSLR cameras while light and compact enough for current system cameras.
