The MagicBall FREE 50 Set combines the Novoflex MagicBall FREE 50 ball head with a guide shell and a support leg. The inverted housing gives an adjustment range of approximately 240°, so the camera can be switched from landscape to portrait easily even when the tripod is not perfectly aligned.
The ball can be removed from the housing to support the camera in many shooting situations. With the shell and the support leg the camera can be stabilised on various surfaces, and panning during video recording becomes possible without an expensive video rig.
