Novoflex Modular Geared Head KOPF² Base Model KOPF2

Developed for demanding fields such as architecture, studio, macro, repro and astrophotography, the Novoflex KOPF² is a compact, modular geared head that allows independent adjustment of both tilt axes. Coarse movements are made with the side clamping levers and fine adjustments with the adjustment screw; the self-locking fine drive prevents heavy camera set-ups from dropping when the coarse lever is closed. The optional CAST-FINE-K handle enlarges the fine adjustment screw for particularly small angular movements.

Both axes have adjustable, zeroable angle scales and integrated bubble levels for reproducible positions. The upper and lower mounting brackets feature an Arca-compatible dovetail profile, a 3/8"-16 thread with 1/4"-20 adapter, a 1/4"-20 mounting screw, video pin holes and recesses for safety pins, so the head can be inserted directly into a quick-release system or a panorama base with integrated clamp. The head can be configured for left- or right-handed use.

This base version is supplied without the upper quick-release clamp and the lower panorama base; both can be added from existing equipment or from the Novoflex range.
