The Promise Vess A8340 is a high-throughput 3U storage solution purpose-built for video surveillance and Intelligent Video Analytics (IVA). Based on the Intel Xeon 6 generation, with single Xeon 6505P or dual-CPU options, it holds 16 3.5" SATA drives and offers six PCIe 5.0 x16 slots that accept up to four single-slot or two dual-slot high-performance GPU cards for real-time analytics. Storage capacity can be extended to multiple petabytes, and SMARTBOOST technology keeps surveillance performance stable and uninterrupted. Networking comprises 2x 10GbE, 2x 1GbE and a dedicated 1GbE IPMI port, with PromiseRAID and redundant 1600 W Platinum power supplies.
