The Promise Pegasus32 R8 is a 8-bay hardware RAID enclosure for Mac and Windows workstations. Its two USB-C ports work either as Thunderbolt 3 (40 Gbps) or as USB 3.2 Gen 2 (10 Gbps), and the dual Thunderbolt 3 ports allow daisy chaining. It supports RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50, 60, JBOD and works with systems running macOS 10.14 or newer and Windows 10 x64. It offers the highest capacity and protection of the family, with up to 144 TB raw.
