PegasusPro R8 is an all-in-one desktop tower storage system that works as Thunderbolt 3 direct-attached storage, Ethernet NAS or Thunderbolt NAS, connecting shared storage to editing workstations. With FileBoost, volumes can be converted from DAS to NAS and back with one click, avoiding long file transfers, and existing Pegasus3 and Pegasus32 units can be aggregated via Thunderbolt 3.
It is designed for collaborative workflows with Final Cut Pro X, Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve and other post-production software, with the PromiseRAID engine for data protection and PROMISE Utility Pro for user and data administration. This configuration is supplied with 64 TB installed as 8 x 8 TB HDD drives.
