Roland P-20HD instant replayer for live sports production: slow-motion replay with simultaneous SD card recording, 2 HDMI inputs with scalers, jog/shuttle, T-bar and 4.3" colour LCD.
Roland P-20HD Video Instant Replayer
The Roland P-20HD brings slow-motion instant replay to live sports production in an affordable, easy-to-use unit that integrates with most Roland A/V switchers and HDMI cameras. Recording goes directly to SD cards, and the game keeps recording in the background while clips are cued and replayed. The SD card also holds logos, sponsor graphics and still images, which can be layered over clips or shown full screen, as well as jingles, music or voiceover audio for playback on cue (video files cannot be imported).
It can be used on its own or upstream or downstream of a Roland video switcher; two cameras can be connected and switched or composited, and both HDMI inputs have built-in scalers. A single operator can mark events as clips while recording and play them back with dedicated buttons. Transport buttons (play, pause, forward, rewind, mark in/out), an optical jog/shuttle wheel and a T-bar for playback speed, with a Speed Range function for ultra-fine control, give hands-on operation, and a playlist builder creates highlight and training reels.
