Roland V-1200HD Multi-Format Video Switcher
The V-1200HD is a 2 M/E multi-format video switcher for broadcast and live events, with a hybrid engine combining a 4:2:2 broadcast switcher and a 4:4:4 live event (presentation) switcher. Inputs include 10 3G/HD-SDI and 4 HDMI, with 6 3G/HD-SDI and 2 HDMI outputs; scalers on HDMI inputs 3 and 4 and on the HDMI outputs support SD, HD and VESA resolutions. A built-in 16-channel audio mixer is included, and video inputs and audio can be expanded with XI-series cards.
Operating modes can be selected between 2 M/E (two keyers per M/E, re-entry in both directions and independent outputs), 1.5 M/E (all four keyers in M/E 1 with PGM/PST as final stage) and 1 M/E with four keys and two AUX buses. Switching is done from the V-1200HDR control surface or the free Remote Control Software, with assignable cross-points and on-screen names.
