Roland V-160HD Streaming Video Switcher
The V-160HD is a portable hybrid event switcher that serves both in-room audiences in Full HD over SDI and HDMI and online audiences via USB-C streaming to any popular web platform. Eight 3G-SDI and eight 1080p HDMI inputs, all with frame rate converters, can be mixed even with mismatched frame rates and colour spaces, and four HDMI inputs have real-time scalers for computers, tablets, smartphones, consoles and legacy 4:3 sources.
Seven freely assignable outputs (three SDI, three HDMI and one USB-C streaming) can carry Program, Sub-Program, Aux, Preview or three Multi-View modes. An eight-layer video effects engine, a 16-slot still store (BMP, JPEG and PNG with alpha), a 40-channel digital audio mixer with effects, PTZ camera control for multiple brands and protocols, 30 preset memories and 100 macros make complex productions manageable by a single operator. Free remote control software is available for macOS, Windows and iPad.
