Roland V-40HD Multi-Format Live Video Switcher
The V-40HD is a multi-format live video switcher for events and installations that need to connect digital and analog, computer and video sources, especially HDMI cameras and computers. Every input has its own scaler and frame synchroniser, so sources do not have to match the output resolution. Each of the four input channels offers HDMI, RGB/component and composite connectors, for twelve sources in total, with resolutions up to 1080/60p or 1920 x 1200.
Outputs are Output 1 (HDMI, RGB/component, composite), Output 2 (HDMI, RGB/component) and a Preview HDMI output with four-way split for inputs, PST, PGM or DSK. Internal processing is 4:4:4/10-bit (output 4:2:2/8-bit), with 1 M/E (PinP) plus DSK. HDCP mode allows copy-protected Blu-ray or game content to be switched (HDMI/DVI-D output only), and analog audio can be mixed and embedded into HDMI with audio delay for lip sync.
