SmallRig Cage for Sony Alpha 7R V / Alpha 7 IV / Alpha 7S III / Alpha 7R IV / Alpha 1 with VG-C4EM Battery Grip 3594

The SmallRig 3594 cage protects Sony Alpha 7 series cameras fitted with the VG-C4EM battery grip and provides accessory mounts. It is secured by a 1/4"-20 screw at the bottom and two side lock adapters through the shoulder strap holes, and keeps access to buttons, card slots, battery door and flip screen. 1/4"-20 threaded holes and ARRI 3/8"-16 locating holes take top handles 1638 and 2165, monitor mounts 2904 and 2903 and side handle 2093; the top cold shoe takes microphones or LED lights and the NATO rail on the left fits NATO handles 2427 and 3260. Two front 1/4"-20 holes support rod clamp 1943 for matte box, follow focus or lens support, and the Arca plate allows quick switching between tripod and handheld shooting. The bottom threads also accept the DJI RS 2 / RSC 2 / RS 3 / RS 3 Pro quick release plate with two screws. A magnetic spanner is built in.

Notes

• Only compatible with the Sony VG-C4EM battery grip
• Remove the camera's triangle split rings on both sides before installing the cage
• The optional HDMI cable clamp 3000 is not compatible with Alpha 1 and Alpha 7R IV and interferes with the sync terminal on Alpha 7R V
• Black side lock adapters are for Alpha 7 IV, silver-grey ones for Alpha 7S III, 7R IV and Alpha 1
