The SmallRig 4429 kit is designed for wildlife photography with telephoto lenses and cameras from brands such as Sony, Canon and Nikon. Its compact design integrates a Manfrotto 501PL quick release plate with the rod clamp base, reducing weight and eliminating adapters for direct attachment to tripods. The snap-on lens support is easy to install and protects the lens mount, and its wheel design leaves the lens free to move whatever the position of the focus ring.
The camera body is connected to the dual rods through a hinge, adjustable to fit different camera models. Together with the other connection points, this three-point support of camera body, mount and lens gives stable lateral movement for steady shots and smooth subject tracking. The carbon fibre rods are strong yet light, the lens support has a strap hole for carrying, and the whole kit supports up to 6 kg.
