The SmallRig 4481 cage for the Sony Alpha 7R V, Alpha 7 IV, Alpha 7S III, Alpha 1 and Alpha 7R IV uses the HawkLock quick release system, with internal roll pins, a 60° slider slot and one-push loading and locking. It also works with traditional cold shoe, NATO clamp and Arca-Swiss accessories, so existing accessories can still be used.

The camera is secured by a three-point locking system (bottom locating pin, 1/4"-20 screw and M2.5 screw) with built-in anti-slip silicone pads. A hinged arm at the battery door follows the camera curve for a better grip. Multiple mounting points accept handles, microphones, LED lights and monitors, and the built-in Arca-Swiss quick release plate on the bottom allows fast switching between tripods and stabilisers.
