The SmallRig 5048 kit pairs a 99 Wh VB99 mini V-mount battery with a foldable one-piece V-mount plate, a compact, lightweight power solution for travel, run-and-gun shooting and tight camera rigs. The bi-directional USB-C PD 3.0 port delivers up to 100 W: with a 100 W or higher GaN charger and a compatible cable the battery fully charges in about 2 hours. USB-C, USB-A, DC 8V, DC 12V, BP and D-Tap outputs power cameras, camcorders, monitors, wireless transmitters, LED lights, phones, tablets and laptops. The plate fits mirrorless and DSLR bodies up to 111 mm thick and tilts 90° for access to side flip screens and ports, and 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads allow flexible mounting. Being under 100 Wh, it is typically allowed in carry-on luggage.
