The SmallRig 5187 cage for the Sony Alpha 1 II and Alpha 9 III uses a three-point anti-deflection locking system, holding the camera with two 1/4"-20 screws and an M4 locating pin without removing the D-rings, while built-in pads prevent scratches. SmallRig's patented HawkLock quick release NATO rail and Arca-Swiss plate allow one-click mounting of HawkLock accessories. 1/4"-20 and ARRI 3/8"-16 holes and a cold shoe mount take microphones, LED lights and other devices. A hinged door at the battery compartment supports the little finger for a better grip, QD sockets and strap slots take shoulder and wrist straps, and a magnetic wrench is stored on the cage.
