SmallRig Cage for Sony Alpha 1 II / Alpha 9 III 5642

The SmallRig 5642 cage for the Sony Alpha 1 II and Alpha 9 III is designed for wildlife photographers. A three-point locking system with a bottom 1/4"-20 screw and two side screws secures the camera without wobble, and built-in pads protect it from scratches. The integrated teleconverter support fits Sony FE 1.4x and 2.0x teleconverters, reducing strain on the lens mount for stable shots at long focal lengths.

1/4"-20 threaded and locating holes, 3/8"-16 threaded holes and ARRI 3/8"-16 locating holes take side handles (4015), top handles (3765), monitor mounts (2903B), tripods (3989), power bank holders (BUB2336) and mini V-mount battery plates (2987), and a side 1/4"-20 locating hole takes single rod clamps (3598), magic arms (3873) and side handles (4346). On the left, a HawkLock quick release NATO rail accepts side handles (4485, 5633), and there are a cold shoe, a strap slot for wrist straps (3848) and a QD socket for shoulder straps (4118B). The Arca-Swiss base mounts directly on Arca-type tripods (4060) and DJI RS 2 / RSC 2 / RS 3 / RS 3 Pro / RS 4 / RS 4 Pro gimbals. The cage has a wear-resistant finish and a built-in double-head wrench.
