The SmallRig 4252 cable powers the camera continuously from an external supply via a D-Tap plug, so you no longer need to change batteries or worry about overheating during long recordings. It is suited to video conferences, live streaming, time-lapse, studio sessions and transferring files to a computer. It works with most V-mount batteries with D-Tap output; SmallRig V-mount batteries are recommended for their overcurrent and overvoltage protection. The fully decoded dummy battery causes no warning pop-ups and has the same size as the original LP-E6NH. Overvoltage, overheating, overcharge and short-circuit protection and fire-resistant PVC and ABS make it safe and reliable. To use it, connect it to the V-mount battery, insert the dummy battery correctly and close the battery compartment cover: if the cover is not closed, the dummy battery will not work.
