The Sonnet Echo Pro adds an ExpressCard/34 slot to a computer with Thunderbolt technology, so a wide variety of ExpressCard/34 cards can be used. It reads SxS memory cards at up to 100 MB/s and supports Sonnet Pro CompactFlash and SDXC readers, FireWire and select eSATA adapters, Qio CF4 and Qio E3 pro media readers, and specialty adapters such as AJA io Express and Prism Sound ADA-8XR and Orpheus. It combines a 10 Gb/s Thunderbolt interface with a 5.0 Gb/s ExpressCard 2.0 (PCIe 2.0) interface.
