Sonnet eGFX Breakaway Box 650 GPU-650WOC-TB3
eGFX Breakaway Boxes are Thunderbolt 3 to PCIe card expansion systems that support any Thunderbolt-compatible PCIe card but are designed specifically for bandwidth-intensive AMD and NVIDIA graphics cards. A large variable-speed, temperature-controlled fan cools the installed card quietly, making them suitable for noise-sensitive environments.
The eGFX Breakaway Box 650 has two 8-pin (6+2) auxiliary power connectors and supports cards requiring 375 W of continuous power plus an additional 100 W peak (equivalent to 750 W recommended system power), and provides 87 W of upstream power to charge a notebook. It is AMD approved for the air-cooled AMD Radeon RX Vega 64, Vega Frontier Edition and Radeon Pro WX 9100, and qualified for overclocked NVIDIA cards with high peak power.
