Sonnet eGPU Breakaway Box 750 Black 1

Sonnet eGPU Breakaway Box 750 GPU-750W-TB3

Many computers have only integrated graphics or low-power discrete GPUs that slow down editing, rendering, colour grading, animation and effects. The eGPU Breakaway Box 750 connects a high-performance GPU card to an eGPU-compatible computer through a single cable. Its x16 PCIe 3.0 slot takes full-length, double-width cards, the 750 W power supply leaves headroom for future GPUs, and the single-port 40 Gbps Thunderbolt 3 interface dedicates the full 2800 MB/s of PCIe bandwidth to the card. It supports AMD Radeon RX (including Vega), Radeon Pro, NVIDIA GeForce, TITAN and Quadro cards; note that macOS supports only AMD GPUs in eGPU systems, while Windows supports AMD and NVIDIA.

Two 8-pin (6+2) auxiliary connectors support cards requiring up to 375 W of continuous power plus 100 W peak, and 85 W of upstream power charges a notebook. It is AMD approved for the air-cooled AMD Radeon RX Vega 64, Radeon Pro WX 8200 and WX 9100 and designed for overclocked NVIDIA cards.
