Sonnet xMac mini Rack (1U) Black, Grey

Sonnet xMac mini Server Thunderbolt 3 1U Rackmount PCIe Expansion System XMAC-MS-A-TB3

The Sonnet xMac mini Server turns a Mac mini into a rackmounted workstation: its rugged 1U enclosure houses the Mac mini, two PCIe expansion slots, the power supply and panel-mount cables. It supports one full-height, full-length single-width card plus one full-height, half-length card (PCIe 1.1, 2.0 and 3.0 cards in PCIe 2.0 slots), such as pro video capture and playout, pro audio, 10GbE, Fibre Channel and SAS/SATA RAID cards; a supplied bracket mounts daughter cards such as those of the RME HDSPe MADI FX or DeckLink 4K Extreme 12G.

An integrated 150 W power supply with auxiliary PCIe power connector supports cards such as the Avid Pro Tools | HDX or RED ROCKET-X. Of the two Thunderbolt 3 ports, one connects to the computer and the second daisy-chains up to five Thunderbolt devices, a USB device or a 4K display, supplying 15 W. Ethernet, HDMI and USB-A ports are mounted at the rear; the front power button switches the Mac mini, and an illuminated front USB-A port is provided. Fans are user-replaceable and the PCIe slots power on and off with the computer.
