The Supermicro SuperChassis 847BE1C12-R1K68LPB4 is a 4U chassis for 12" x 10", 13.68" x 13" and 9.6" x 9.6" motherboards, with thirty-six 3.5" hot-swap SAS/SATA drive bays (24 front, 12 rear) with SES3, supporting SAS3/2 or SATA3 drives at 12 Gb/s. The E1C12 backplane combines a single SAS3 12 Gb/s expander with 12 NVMe bays (8 front, 4 rear) and Mini-SAS HD (SFF-8643) connectivity. Power comes from redundant (1+1) 1600 W Titanium Level supplies with PMBus, and seven middle 8 cm hot-swap fans (13,500 rpm) with an adjustable air shroud provide cooling. It ships on a pallet.
