The Supermicro AOC-S3616L-L16iT HBA provides 16 internal direct-attached SAS/SATA connections through four Mini SAS HD connectors and uses a PCIe 3.0 x16 interface for high performance. It offers over 1.7 million IOPS and close to 12 GB/s throughput, and supports up to 1024 storage devices in IT mode. HBA management is carried out through sideband IPMI utilities.
