The Supermicro AOM-TPM-9670V-O is a hardware-based security device that is added to a system motherboard to hold computer-generated encryption keys. Because all cryptographic functions are performed on the device itself, keys, passwords and digital certificates are better protected from external software attacks and physical theft. It adds an extra layer of security to Supermicro SuperServers and connects to the motherboard's 10-pin TPM header.
