The Supermicro AOM-TPM-9665H is a TCG 2.0 trusted platform module in a horizontal version, for Intel motherboards with TPM support. The module stores keys, passwords and digital certificates and protects them against external software attacks and physical theft. The TPM implements a Root of Trust that starts during the boot process, collecting measurements of the running environment and operating system for trusted reporting, so that applications, remote access, electronic transactions and digital communications can run more securely.
