Tether Tools Active USB 3.0 Extension Cable 5m Black

Tether Tools TetherPro USB 3.0 to Female Active Extension 5 m Black CU3016

The Tether Tools TetherPro USB 3.0 to Female Active Extension allows longer tethering distances without worrying about signal errors or corrupt data transfers. Passive USB 3.0 cables over 16 ft (5 m) used for data transmission may cause signal errors or noise; one active extension and one passive 15 ft (4.6 m) USB cable can be daisy-chained for a total of 30 ft (10 m) before any drop-off in signal or quality.

Fully shielded and designed to USB specifications to filter signal noise and reduce transmission errors, it buffers signals and data going in and out to keep the signal quality consistent. Plug the male end into the computer and the camera's USB cable into the female end, so that the repeater is closest to the device. For USB 3.0 connectivity issues Tether Tools offers the TetherBoost Pro Core Controller.
