Tether Tools CRCE8 camera kit

Tether Tools Relay Camera Coupler CRCE8 for Canon LP-E8 battery

The Tether Tools CRCE8 Relay Camera Coupler takes the place of the Canon LP-E8 battery in the camera and, together with the Case Relay Camera Power System (sold separately), keeps the camera powered continuously from an external 5V USB battery pack or from wall power through a USB AC adapter. The coupler is simply an insert for the battery cavity: it contains no battery and holds no charge.

It suits time-lapse photography, photo booths, video production, power-hungry LiveView shooting and long days on set. Because Case Relay has its own internal 1200 mAh backup battery, the external battery pack can be hot-swapped without the camera losing power.

Key features

• Insert for the camera battery cavity, contains no battery
• Continuous power from standard 5V USB power banks or wall power via Case Relay
• External battery can be hot-swapped without powering down the camera
• For time-lapse, photo booths, video production and LiveView shooting
• Requires the Case Relay Camera Power System (sold separately)

Compatibility

• Canon 700D, Canon EOS 550D, Canon EOS 600D, Canon EOS 650D, Canon EOS Kiss X4, Canon EOS Kiss X5, Canon EOS Kiss X6i, Canon EOS Kiss X7i, Canon EOS Rebel T2i, Canon EOS Rebel T3i and others

Notes

• Insert the coupler into the battery cavity and close the battery door completely, letting the cable exit through the rubber trapdoor: the door must be fully closed for the system to work properly
