Tether Tools TetherPro USB 3.0 to Micro-B Cable 4.6 m Orange CU5454
The Tether Tools TetherPro USB 3.0 to Micro-B cable (CU5454) connects a camera with a USB 3.0 Micro-B port to a computer's USB-A port for fast and reliable image transfer. Designed to USB specifications to filter signal noise and reduce transmission errors, it is fully shielded against external interference.
USB 3.0 data ports are shallow and the connection is thin, so Tether Tools recommends a TetherBlock to keep the cable connected. For tethering distances over 15 ft (4.6 m) a SuperSpeed USB 3.0 active extension can be used, most likely together with a TetherBoost Pro Core Controller, which regulates power from the camera to keep the USB 3.0 connection stable. Tethering a camera to a computer also requires tethering software, such as Smart Shooter, recommended by Tether Tools.
