Tether Tools TetherPro USB 2.0 to Mini-B 8-Pin Cable 30 cm Black CU8001-BLK
The Tether Tools TetherPro USB 2.0 to Mini-B 8-Pin cable (CU8001-BLK) connects a camera with a Mini-B 8-pin port to a computer's USB-A port. It is designed and manufactured to USB specifications for speed and reliability, with gold-plated connectors for corrosion resistance, a reinforced ferrite core that filters signal noise and reduces transmission errors, and full-lined shielding against external interference.
For tethering distances over 15 ft (4.6 m), USB specifications advise using a USB 2.0 active extension to preserve signal integrity: TetherPro active extensions allow up to 80 ft (24 m) in total. Tethering a camera to a computer also requires tethering software, such as Smart Shooter, recommended by Tether Tools.
