With a 1:1 aspect ratio, square softboxes are often used as fill lights thanks to their very even output, and are useful in a variety of lighting situations.

Trux Design softboxes are made of high-quality materials with a quick-opening system: heat-resistant metal rods hold the shape of the softbox and front panel, and the embossed silver interior gives better, more controlled light reflection. The recessed front diffuser reduces spill and accepts accessories such as diffusers and grids; two diffusers (front and internal) remove the central hotspot. A grid and a Bowens S-type bayonet adapter ring are included, for compatibility with most studio flashes and LED lights, together with a shoulder bag for transport.
