The sensor sits deep inside the camera chamber behind a dark filter, which makes it hard to position the swab correctly and avoid contamination from accidentally touching the sides of the chamber. The VisibleDust SwabLight attaches to the swab handle, giving excellent visibility and a more comfortable grip for careful, professional-level cleaning. The firmer grip gives more uniform pressure and movement for streak-free results, and the adjustable light beam helps position the swab along the sensor edges.
